At the February 25, 2008 San Francisco Board of Supervisors Land Use and Economic Development Committee hearing Caltrans spokesperson, Dan McElhaney, answers that Caltrans will share in the responsibility for cleaning up Mountain Lake at the Presidio of San Francisco.
